Do you?
I live in a little place where there isn't a lot of craft shopping available so I tend to shop online.
Today I got an order from Joann.com and I just can't wait to ink up my new stamps!
I did a small haul video if you would like to see.

Another Stampin Up Card, but first a story...
I do have a card for you today, but first...a story:
Saturday was quite the adventure around my house!
As I was leaving to go to a Stampin' Up card making party my 14 year old asked if she could go to her friend's house (across the street). I said, ''If you feed your cat, then yes, you may go.''
I left for the party only to get a phone call about ten minutes into it.... It was my neighbor from across the street... Somehow, my daughter managed to bend down, feed her cat, then turn to RUN up the stairs, only to crack her head on the very end of the wooden handrail! OUCH!
My daughter says, she hit the handrail so hard that her bottom jar clamped shut, rather hard! So she instantly thought to grab her bottom jaw and moan. Almost just as instantly, her hand flew to her head in reaction to the pain on top of her head. And do you suppose she found? Yep, blood.
Her only thought was to go get the ''neighbor lady'' to get her to call Mom!
I came home, took my daughter to the ER and she was given 3 stitches in the top of her head without one single complaint from her. She's one tough cookie!
What an adventure!
Without further rambling...here is one of the cards that was made at the card making party that I missed most of! lol

I hope you all...
I hope everyone had a lovely Easter!
This card was made with the Stampin Up stamp set called Flower Shop.
I like how the little black strip makes the side panel "pop".

Can you believe...?
Me...Blogging two days in a row? What? HaHa
Yep, I'm here with another card share for everyone.
A little while back I bought a stamp set from Stampin Up called "Lovely as a Tree" but never used it! Ooops.
Well, I finally inked it up! Here is what I did...

Makeshift modeling paste...
So, I watch A LOT of YouTube videos...I mean A LOT! :)
Well, in one of Thefrugralcrafter videos she said you could use white window caulk in the place of embossing/modeling paste! WHAT!? How great is that!
So I tried it... and not only did it work great, it's way cheaper!
Ok, so I also came across this young man's blog and just had to share... http://thegreencricut.blogspot.com/2014/04/hogs-and-kisses-cricut-pig-card-giveaway.html
He used embossing paste and while it was still wet he sprinkled on some embossing powder, let it dry completely and then heat embossed it. Did you see his adorable card? I think it looks great! So I had to try it for myself! :)
Here is my go at using white caulk as embossing paste and silver embossing powder TOO!
(oh and for the backgrounds in these cards, I tried out my new distress markers too. I scribbled on my craft mat and then spritz it with water, then smooshed some water color paper around on it and tada! )
