Ribbon Cans...

I've been seeing videos of scrappers making their own Ribbon holders/dispensers and thought I'd give it a try...
 First, I gathered my supplies...
With my jumbo emery board I roughed the can up a little...
Then I measured my paper that I wanted to cover my can in...
Now, take the Mod Podge and coat an area of the can for my paper to stick to...
Once the entire can was covered and I had put a thick coat of Mod Podge over my paper, I set it to the side to dry.
Now that my can is dry, I can use the Crop-a-dile to punch my eyelet holes in it...
 Now for the eyelets...
I used the same tool, just changed the setting to the eyelet setter...
I then dropped my spools of ribbon in, then threaded them through the eyelet holes.
All done!

For my less ''crafty'' friends that want a ribbon holder, but think they can't do what I've done above (or don't have the supplies needed)...
For this box, I simply punched holes in the lid and added eyelets to run the ribbon through.

Older Photos...

Here are a few of the older photos that I scrapped this week...

What I've been doing lately...

I found a REALLY great deal on DCWV Matstacks the other day and boy have I went to town with them!
The cupcakes in these cards are a new stamp that I got the same day as the Matstacks and I had a little fun painting them with watercolor crayons and Martha Stewart Blending Markers.
I've also been scrapbooking old photos like crazy...

These photos are from Summer 2010 while we were living in Louisiana.

This photo is from 2009, also in Louisiana.
